Kicking off the programme below is an introduction from our Head Judge this year, Chris Hyde, Senior Quality and Standards Manager at WorldSkills UK.

Chris Hyde

“It’s been an incredible experience chairing the judging panel of the Apprenticeship Guide Awards 2025. I’m proud of the apprenticeships sector supporting people to find the careers of their dreams, and judging the entries was tough work. Every single finalist should be very proud of themselves.”
