The Apprenticeship Guide Awards ceremony is a black-tie event that includes a welcome reception, three-course meal and the awards ceremony.

Adjacent to the Royal Armouries Museum, the event is set to take place at New Dock Hall on Clarence Dock, Leeds’s sparkling waterfront development.

What is the dress code?

Black tie and formalwear.

What time do the awards begin?

7pm sharp, until late.

What is the structure of the evening?

The evening begins with a welcome reception. Dinner follows, with the awards ceremony and then entertainment to end the evening.

Is there a set menu?

Yes, across three courses. But individual dietary requirements are catered for. Let us know when you book your tickets / confirm who will be attending.

Jo Caulfield

Who is the host?

Jo Caulfield is a renowned stand-up comedian, writer, and actress, known for her appearances on TV shows like Have I Got News For You, The John Bishop Show, and Michael McIntyre’s Comedy Roadshow. She has also featured on radio programs such as Just a Minute and Breaking The News and performed at the Edinburgh Festival. Praised by critics as “one of the finest female comics” (The Observer) and “a damn funny woman” (The Scotsman), Jo has headlined major comedy clubs globally and was a pioneer in TV warm-up roles.

Jo has also made regular appearances on BBC Scotland’s Debate Night and BBC 1’s The Politics Show, offering her insights on current affairs. A respected writer, she has contributed to programs like So Graham Norton and worked with famous figures such as Joan Rivers and Anne Robinson. Jo’s radio credits include It’s That Jo Caulfield Again and Jo Caulfield Won’t Shut Up. In 2021, she won a week on Richard Osman’s House Of Games. Her memoir, A Funny Thing About Death, was published in 2023, detailing her life with her late sister, Annie.

How do I get to the venue?

The venue is located 0.8 miles (around 19 minutes on foot) from Leeds station.

The venue is located 10.9 miles from Leeds Bradford Airport.

There are several car parks within walking distance of the venue.

The nearest is CitiPark Leeds Dock, which has 1500 spaces, located at Armouries Drive, Leeds, LS10 1LE
