At EAL, we design, provide and maintain a comprehensive range of qualifications, assessments and skills solutions for educators and training providers. We do this to ensure that engineers and engineering and manufacturing employers have the right skills, at the right time, to keep up with changing industry needs and the net-zero transition.

EAL is a leading awarding organisation regulated by government bodies across the four nations and is a full member of the Federation of Awarding Bodies.

We work with industry experts to design and maintain our wide range of Engineering & Manufacturing and Building Services Engineering qualifications. We gather evidence of what skills are needed on a local and national scale, and decide how to measure learners’ progress in acquiring those skills.

EAL is also an end-point assessment organisation, or EPAO. Our goal is to make sure learners can access the skills and training they need to begin a career in the engineering and manufacturing sector. We achieve this through the design and maintenance of a comprehensive range of EPA standards.
